As a professional counselor, crises represent an opportunity to put my Christian faith into action and assist those who are in need of compassion and relief. My work in crisis intervention began as a volunteer with a rescue squad and then branched out into various roles of mental health crisis intervention. In my seventeen years as a counselor, I have had the privilege of working with individuals, couple, families, and groups. Several of my current interests include providing Critical Incident Stress Debriefings to rescue workers, assisting churches in providing crisis response to their community, and teaching/training other counselors in their professional pursuits.
